Prince Albert of Monaco admits doing his holiday shopping

• Monaco’s Prince Albert II has a list of Christmas gifts for his family.
• He and his wife, Princess Charlene, are expecting their twins.
• Each child will each get a different set of toys and games.

Monaco’s Prince Albert II tells a reputed Magazine, “I’ll take care of that on Wednesday.” When asked about gifts for his wife, Princess Charlene, and their twin 8-year-old children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella,

The Prince says that she is known for shopping the night before “I haven’t done my shopping yet, okay? It’s been a busy year, and the last few weeks have been very busy. There has been a lot of travel, and on Friday afternoon this week, I have meetings and appointments.”

But he has a list. He says that the children, “will each get a different set of toys and games. Nothing special, though. The games and characters that they like to play change all the time.”

“We had a big… well, for Jacques, there was a long Super Mario phase, but that’s kind of over and we’re moving on to other things,” he says.

For his wife Charlene, “I’ve thought of it, but I haven’t gotten it yet.” After a moment he suggests, “It’s something practical.

” When the last two words are unexpectedly repeated back at him with utter disbelief, Prince Albert laughs heartily. Beginning his defense: “Well, it’s something that she wanted…”

“…And maybe it’s not the only gift I’m going to give her, okay?” he continues. “I was thinking of that one when you asked, but there could be two different gifts this year.”

As for where the family will spend the holidays, they have two plans: He says, “Christmas will be here in Monaco, and then we’ll take a week off with the family to celebrate the New Year somewhere else.”

When asked if they planned to go somewhere warm or cold, he smiled.

Albert says, “Warm and cold.” “I’m sorry I can’t tell you more, but if you want a recap of what happened, I’ll do it in January if you want.”
