Season 3 of ‘I Think You Should Leave’ begins filming
Netflix announced today that Season 3 of the sketch show I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is in the works! Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, co-creators of Detroiters and former Saturday Night Live writers, are behind the series.
I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is a Netflix original sketch comedy series. Its fans adore it for its distinct and chaotic sense of humour.
The series is best known for its sketches, which begin normally but quickly devolve into chaos as one or more characters become unreasonable.
A “Baby of the Year” composition that turns ugly when the audience starts booing one of the babies, a man in a hot dog costume who refuses to be held accountable when a car shaped like a hot dog crashes into a store, and who refuses to stop making inappropriate comments on a ghost tour are all examples of hit sketches.
The start of production was announced on the Netflix Is A Joke Twitter account, which the streamer uses to promote all of its comedy programming.
The tweet included a screenshot of a camera monitor, which showed Robinson on set and in character. He appears to be in an office, looking at his computer with a frustrated expression.
Any I Think You Should Leave fan will tell you that it’s anyone’s guess what crazy situation this character is in.
I believe you should depart with Tim. Robinson was created by Robinson and Kanin, and he appears in almost every sketch.
They were also co-creators and members of the creative team for the Comedy Central series Detroiters. Robinson is probably best known outside of the series for his roles in Detroiters and his one season as a cast member on Saturday Night Live.
He has also written for three seasons of Saturday Night Live and an episode of Documentary Now! Kanin’s previous writing credits include five seasons on Saturday Night Live.
Many of the sketches in the show feature big guest stars getting involved in the chaos. Steven Yeun, Bob Odenkirk, Cecily Strong, Fred Willard, and many others are among them.
Fellow Saturday Night Live alums Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg, and Jorma Taccone, better known as the comedy group The Lonely Island, also executive produce the show.
Stay tuned to Collider for any future updates on Tim Robinson’s upcoming season of I Think You Should Leave.
