The Baba Yaga appears in a new poster for ‘John Wick 4’

Keanu Reeves spoke with fans in Brazil today about his upcoming return as John Wick in Chad Stahelski’s highly anticipated John Wick: Chapter 4.

CCXP attendees were given a brand-new poster for the upcoming action film during the panel, which included Steve Weintraub and Erick Massoto.

The poster depicts Reeves as the titular character in a stunning red and black design, as well as his nickname, Baba Yaga.

The gun-fu master Baba Yaga will face new dangerous scenarios in grand locations like the Lourve, including gun fights, ass-kicking dogs, and the terrifying realisation that there is only “one way out” and “no way back.”

When you think about it, that’s a pretty ominous idea to introduce at a time when John Wick’s fate is still largely unknown.

While we don’t know if Wick will appear in his own film, we did learn a few weeks ago that he will reprise the role in the Ana de Armas-led spinoff film Ballerina, alongside Ian McShane, Anjelica Houston, and Lance Reddick.

Ian McShane as Winston and Lance Reddick as Charon will return in John Wick: Chapter 4, along with newcomers Bill Skarsgard as the antagonist The Marquis, Shamier Anderson as The Tracker, and Clancy Brown as The Harbinger.

Caine (Donnie Yen) and Shimazu (Hiroyuki Sanada) will also face off in the fourth film. Laurence Fishburne, who played Bowery King in The Matrix, will also reunite with Reeves. Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Natalia Tena round out the cast.

Stahelski’s acclaimed action franchise is expanding rapidly, and Ballerina isn’t the only spinoff in the works.

While no release date has been set for the Continental spinoff series, it will premiere internationally on Peacock and Prime Video.

The series, which stars Colin Woodell as the younger Winston, is set to explore his life in the 1970s as he seizes control of the hotel where so much of the John Wick universe revolves.

On March 24, John Wick: Chapter 4 will be released in theaters.
