Thomas Doherty completes filming on romantic drama ‘Dandelion’
Filming on upcoming romantic drama ‘Dandelion’ of Thomas Doherty has officially ended. An Instagram update from the actor’s fan page showed him celebrating the end of filming. When the movie is released the following year, he will co-star with KiKi Layne.
Layne will play the title character in the upcoming film Dandelion, a down-on-her-luck musician with lofty ambitions despite the challenges in her way.
She makes the risky decision to work at a biker rally in South Dakota while residing in Cincinnati because it’s her last remaining chance to save her career.
Her risk pays off when she meets struggling guitarist Casey (Doherty) by chance and accepts his invitation to join his travelling band.
However, Casey has put his musical aspirations on hold for a very long time, so their careers are at different stages right now.
The course of Dandelion’s life is altered as a result of the whirlwind romance she begins to experience with Casey while travelling with him.
Doherty’s casting as Casey was initially revealed in late October, when he was fresh off of The Invitation.
Now that he has finished Dandelion, he will soon be seen again on screens everywhere in HBO’s revival of Gossip Girl as Max Wolfe.
Constance Billard’s students got to experience a whole new cast of drama with the start of the eagerly awaited new season on December 1.
He’s looking forward to Fall into Darkness, which was announced in June 2021, now that those two are taken care of.
The film, which is directed by Roxanne Benjamin and stars Doherty, Nell Tiger Free, and Lorena Izzo, attempts to adapt the Spanish film La Cueva.
David Bruckner and Nick Tecosky co-wrote the screenplay. With recent roles in Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers and the incredibly popular Don’t Worry Darling, Layne is also experiencing a rise in fame. However, If Beale Street Could Talk remains perhaps her most well-known role.
After dazzling festival audiences with her debut coming-of-age film Holler, writer/director Nicole Riegel will release Dandelion as her second feature.
Her partnership with IFC Films, which will release the movie, is ongoing. Layne will serve as the lead and an executive producer in addition to working as a producer with Rian Cahill of Griffin Drive Productions, Adam Cobb, and Pete McClellan.
Executive producers Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger of Automatik, Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, and Tyler Gould of BondIt Media Capital complete the production team in addition to Layne.
Dandelion is anticipated to make its debut in 2023. See the notification below.
