Usher mourns death of grandmother Tina

Usher laments the passing of his grandmother Ernestine Carter, who passed away in her Chattanooga home on December 24. He claims that a part of him “continues to break silently.” aged 87 years.

He posted many images of the two of them on Instagram on Tuesday, with the caption: “It’s taken me a few days to understand that my Grandma Tina is no longer with me.”

“Her daily objective was to assist those in need, and she accomplished this. She only ever did it. She genuinely prayed for me and many other individuals. Right now, I’m unsure of my location.”

The “U Got It Bad” singer admitted that, despite his best efforts, a part of him “continues to break silently” while he tries to be strong for others.

“We were just laughing a few days earlier when he stated, “I thought we had a lot more time.”

There’s a time for everything, son, according to Usher, were Carter’s last words to him.

The singer of “Moving Mountains” claimed that he needed to speak with his “earth angel” grandma “one more” time and that he needs to need her “right now more than ever.”
