Anil Kapoor shares hard work might not be enough to impress audience

Anil Kapoor, an actor, recently discussed the shifting landscape of the film industry. The senior actor believes that despite years of experience, hard work alone cannot ensure success. He spoke up at the Alibaug premiere of his upcoming show The Night Manager’s trailer.

Aditya Roy Kapur, Shobita Dhulipala, and Anil Kapoor are the main actors in The Night Manager. Anil and Aditya compete against one another in this Indian adaptation of a British television series set against the backdrop of illicit arms deals. On February 17, the drama series will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Anil talked about how he needs to look into new opportunities to keep finding work during the trailer launch. “I’ve never done something similar before, so that should be the first thing that makes me anxious and feel like I can’t do this. Then I consider how I want to give my all because otherwise, how will I be able to show my face to my friends without giving my all (on-screen). Will I still be hired after directors see this, or will I completely stop getting work? He was quoted by Indian Express as saying, “I always have this nervousness, anxiety, and hunger (to do good work) all the time, and it pushes me.

He continued by saying that he thought it was getting harder to excite the crowd and added, “After working for so many years it has become very, very tricky, what should I do, what have I done that people have not already seen me do. It is very tough and every day it is becoming tougher to excite the audience with so much stuff happening around. One needs blessings, only hard work doesn’t (make the cut) anymore. In Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Anil Kapoor appeared alongside Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani. Along with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Animal and Fighter starring Ranbir Kapoor, these are his upcoming projects.
