Brooks Marks rated Jen Shah’s liked tweets as awful
When Jen Shah and the other co-stars of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” were arguing, Brooks, Meredith Marks’ son, comically rated a series of offensive tweets about him that Jen Shah “loved.”
In a TikTok video posted on Sunday, an apparel designer stated, “Let’s travel down memory lane and rate all the terrible tweets that someone ‘liked’ about me couple of years ago.”
‘Meredith’s grown ass son was so offended for nothing,’ is a good opening statement, he said. Brooks, 23, made a joke about being “happy.” The 49-year-old Shah “agreed” and rated the post a “5 out of 10.”
He changed his rating after noticing the initial tweeter’s account, “I Hate It Here.” He said sarcastically, “Actually, I’ll give it a six since I feel awful that the guy ‘hates it here.
“His scenes today made me despise him and his snobbish attitude,” the following tweet stated. Brooks acknowledged his interest.
You know what they say: The higher the altitude, the more elite the attitude,” he continued, gushing, “I love this one.” He rated the tweet an “eight out of 10” rating because it had “more thinking” put into it.
Shah “liked” another tweet that called Brooks a “dramatic brat.” Simply because it was accompanied by a meme that he considered “funny,” he gave it a “nine out of 10.”
You should have just sat there and enjoyed your almond milk, it said next to a picture of Tiffany “New York” Pollard. The next tweet Brooks received was particularly disparaging: “The way I’d LOVE for Jen to flip around and call Brooks s!ssy b!tch.”
Because it scared him, he assigned it a score of “6.5 out of 10.” Brooks ended his video with a tweet that he thought was very funny.
“I’m dying with this one. “‘Jen Shah will eat Brooks alive’ is honestly a 10 out of 10,” he proclaimed, “Like, she would!”
Meredith, Brooks’ mother, had chastised Shah for “liking,” “retweeting,” and “commenting” on offensive postings during Season 2 of “RHOSLC.”
Meredith lashed out at Shah during a scene where everyone was ice fishing because of his inappropriate online behavior.
You’ve “liked” hateful comments about my son’s sexual orientation. It hurts so bad,” she said. “I heard about a Zoom you hosted where you questioned his coming out and his sexuality,” someone said.
Brooks “had never seen a vagina,” Shah insisted, and the jewelry designer continued to agree. The offensive remark was made in response to Brooks’ accusations that he felt uncomfortable after seeing Shah’s privates during a gathering at the Marks family home in Season 1.
At the moment, Meredith added, “Those are nasty, homophobic microaggressions for a young adult who hasn’t decided where he stands. “Pressuring someone to talk about something they’re not ready to talk about is incredibly hurtful.”
In the end, Meredith and Brooks reconciled with Shah; this was depicted in “Salt Lake City” Seasons 2 and 3.
The most recent episode of the Bravo reality series included additional coverage of Shah’s fraud case, which culminated in a last-minute plea agreement reversal in July 2022.
Shah was given a six-and-a-half-year prison term on January 6, nearly six months after she admitted to running a statewide telemarketing operation that preyed mostly on the elderly and thousands of other individuals. On February 17, she is expected to hand herself in.
Shah is absent from the first half of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 3 reunion, which airs on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
