Chrissy Teigen 37-year-old cookbook author used Twitter on Wednesday to inquire about a very significant issue: bikini waxing during pregnancy.

Teigen worried that she might not be able to tolerate the discomfort of an upcoming salon session. “I know it hurts more while you are pregnant, she said, “but is waxing down there worse or much worse while pregnant? I may be slightly worse.”

The comments flowed in and so did Teigen’s trademark razor-sharp replies. “I can’t unsee this,” tweeted one fan, to which Teigen fired back, “Imagine what the poor [aesthetician] has to see.”

“Why even bother,” wondered another. Teigen’s explanation? “Trying to do the doctors a solid.”

Teigen, who is expecting a child with husband John Legend, has been spending quality family time before the baby’s arrival when she is not finishing off the last few tasks on her to-do list.

The pair recently shared images from a joyous Christmas party they had with Teigen’s mother, Pepper, Teigen’s siblings, Miles Theodore, 4, and Luna Simone, 6, last month. In addition, the family celebrated Teigen’s 37th birthday at the end of November and Legend’s 44th birthday at the end of December.

As always, the host celebrated her important day in her own unique style. In a video titled “Here’s What I Did for My 37th Birthday,” Teigen revealed her carefree birthday celebrations, which included eating pizza, hanging out with friends, and watching The Office and Below Deck.
