Christina Hall’s husband reveals he was police officer for 16 years

Josh Hall, the husband of Christina Hall, celebrated National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by posting a throwback image from his time as a police officer.

Josh, 42, posted a lengthy ode to “those who are out there performing a thankless job 24/7/365” on Instagram on Monday. He also included a picture of himself in uniform standing in front of a police car.

“Typically I won’t share much about my personal life and my past, but with today being #NationalLawEnforcementAppreciationDay, me spending 16+ years in that field before medically retiring, I felt the need to remind those who are unaware and want to show some appreciation for those still grinding away for our safety,” wrote Josh, who later became a real estate agent and TV producer.

He continued, “I won’t use this opportunity to share a resume of my accomplishments as an officer or talk about any impactful moments in my career.” He asked his followers, instead, to “feel a sense of gratitude” toward those still working in law enforcement.

The television celebrity, who co-stars with his wife on HGTV’s Christina in the Country, has admitted shortcomings in his former industry. Recall that there are about 700K police officers in the United States, and the majority will spend the majority of their lives facing fears and people the general public would run the other way from.

Granted, not all officers are saints, and some will have made poor choices and perhaps even some of them didn’t respond to your needs the way you wanted.

He saluted his “forever brothers and sisters in blue, tan/green or whatever colour uniform has a badge pinned to it” as he ended the message.
