Drake’s Instagram video fuels arrest rumours

The apparent arrest video sparked widespread social media rumours that the Canadian rapper had been imprisoned in Sweden for marijuana use. Soon, “Free Drake” started to trend on Twitter as well.

However, the Grammy winner’s representative told XXL that the rap singer was not in custody.
However, following a few days of rumours, the Started From The Bottom rapper uploaded a post on Instagram with what appeared to be a letter from Sweden’s National Police Board’s Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The document cited a number of things, including the recipient’s detention on a criminal suspicion.
