Javed Akhtar is an Indian poet, lyricist, screenwriter, and political activist. Known for his work in Hindi cinema, he has won five National Film Awards.

Javed Akhtar, a lyricist, and playwright, received birthday wishes from actor-singer Farhan Akhtar via Instagram. Last Tuesday, Javed turned 78. A photo of Farhan’s father in black and white was posted. He remembered the event by writing Javed a sincere letter. Zoya Akhtar, Javed’s director-daughter, also posted her father’s photo and sent him birthday greetings. Her calling him “pa” Hrithik Roshan, Shibani Dandekar, and Chunky Panday commented on Farhan’s birthday message for Javed along with other viewers.

Farhan shared a black-and-white photo of Javed. Javed was smiling and wearing a coat when the photo was taken. Farhan posted the image to Instagram and added, Happy birthday pa. You know what you mean to me and to every person who’s life, thinking, and work you have influenced for the better. Love you. @jaduakhtar. actors Chunky Panday and Mir Sarwar wished Javed Saab a happy birthday by using the emoticons of a red heart and an embrace.
