Kartik Aaryan leased Shahid Kapoor’s sea-facing Juhu flat

Actor Kartik Aaryan has reportedly been hunting for a home in Juhu. The actor has been looking for a sea-facing flat in the Juhu district of Mumbai, where he resides with his mother, father, and sister. Along with taking his mother to a few buildings in Juhu, Kartik also went to Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s former home to see the home’s view of the sea. According to recent Internet sources, Kartik Aaryan has now decided on Shahid Kapoor’s residence and has leased the apartment for three years.

Kartik Aaryan leases Shahid Kapoor’s Juhu apartment

Kartik Aaryan has reportedly leased Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s Juhu flat for three years, according to a Hindustan Times story. The stamp duty and registration for the 36-month leasing transaction were completed on January 12, 2023, according to papers retrieved through zapkey.com. On Juhu Tara Road, the flat is located in the Praneta Building. Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput signed the contract on his behalf, and Kartik Aaryan’s mother Mala Tiwari leased the residence.

The 3,681 square foot home has a basement and a sea view, and Kartik Aaryan will have access to two parking spaces in the neighbourhood. The documents state that Kartik reportedly paid a security deposit of Rs 45 lakhs, and the rent will rise by 7% annually. Kartik would pay a monthly rent of Rs 7.5 lakh for the first year, followed by Rs 8.02 lakh for the second year and Rs 8.58 lakh for the third.

When Kartik Aaryan bought a flat in Mumbai in 2019

Kartik Aaryan bought a residence in Mumbai’s Versove neighborhood’s Rajkiran Co-op Housing Society in 2019. Interestingly, it was the same apartment that he had rented out during his tough times in Mumbai after leaving Gwalior. The actor is said to have spent 1.60 crore rupees for the 459 square foot apartment, plus Rs. 9.60 lakh in stamp duty.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput shifted to Worli from Juhu

In the meantime, Pinkvilla announced in September 2022 that Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor had moved from Juhu to Worli. The couple took possession of the home in 2019 after making a 2018 reservation for a duplex unit in the Three Sixty West building. The couple moved into their Worli residence in 2022 after finishing the interior remodelling. Apparently, their brand-new apartment cost a staggering Rs 58 crore! The residence in Three Sixty West includes a huge 500 square foot balcony and has six parking spaces assigned to the actor.

The insider continued, “Shahid and Mira as parents, were particularly worried with the rising public on the beach of their old Juhu flat, which was easily visible from their deck area. This is why they moved to Worli. Shahid neglected the risk when he purchased the Praneta apartment in Juhu as a bachelor. Shahid, who was now a father of two children, took the situation very seriously and considered permanently relocating to Worli.
