Kelly Rizzo captioned first and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their unwavering love and support throughout the past year. The ongoing love and support for Bob has continued even after a full year has passed, and his family and I are very appreciative of that. Every day, I remember him as my darling and adorably wonderful husband who was also my best friend who did everything in his power to make me feel loved and unique every single day… a blend of how I remember him and how the outside world perceived him

I am happy all the time. I enjoy laughing when I view some of the stupid little videos he used to send me with silly voices and filters. I will simply grin when I see a photo of us from our wedding or any of our adventures. I smile just from hearing his voice.

I often think, “Bob would laugh at that” or “Bob would adore that joke,” whenever I hear a humorous joke. While I was listening to Bill Burr’s recent special, I kept thinking to myself, “Bob would adore that!” or “OMG, Bob would be laughing so hard right now, and then he’d call Bill right afterward to tell him how brilliant he is.” For example, “OMG, Bob would be laughing so hard right now, and then he would phone Bill straight away to tell him how smart he is.”

The people who have brought me the most consolation are Bob’s daughters. I can not imagine going through this terrible road without each other. They truly are miracles and angels, and I am eternally grateful that we have found each other. Every day I give God thanks for them. In addition, my family has been my pillar of support. I am really fortunate to have such a loving and encouraging family and friends. Bob’s friends, lastly. He has such a unique set of pals who still often check in on me to see how I am doing. I am a fortunate lady.

My mind immediately goes to the day of our wedding. It was incredibly lovely, unique, and amazing. I am really happy we could interact.
