King Charles is reviving a tradition.

Whereas The monarch, 74, and his wife Camilla, Queen Consort, 75, attended a New Year’s Day ceremony at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

King Charles III wore a blue suit and grey tweed coat with brown leather shoes, while Camilla wore a black jacket, black boots, and a grey feathered hat.

The two met the Bishop of Norwich, Graham Usher, and the Reverend Canon, Dr. Paul Williams, outside the church on New Year’s Day. Also King Charles III was also photographed greeting crowds near St. Mary Magdalene Church.

Although Due to the epidemic and Queen Elizabeth’s health, the royal family’s New Year’s Day tradition was suspended for two years. In 2021 and 2020, before her death on Sept. 8, 2022, the queen enjoyed the holidays at Windsor Castle.

Meanwhile Royal family returned to Sandringham for 2022 holidays. On Christmas morning, they attended St. Mary Magdalene Church, then returned to Sandringham House for a turkey supper.

Though Biographer Ingrid Seward claims Charles loves Sandringham. “Every family has Christmas traditions. He’ll do nothing.”

Charles III’s first Christmas speech matched Queen Elizabeth’s. As Queen Elizabeth did, he ended his Christmas remarks on a cheerful note.
“Christmas is a Christian holiday, in other words the power of light defeating darkness transcends faith,” he remarked. “Whether you have faith or not,  I believe we may find hope in this life-giving light and in our devotion to others. Let’s enjoy and honor it together.”

Although May 6 is King Charles III’s coronation.
