The former bodyguard of Kris Jenner has been given 13 months to settle the sexual harassment claim he made against her.

After they were unable to resolve the case through private arbitration, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Armen Tamzarian has now granted an extension. The “Kardashians” star was accused of groping Marc McWilliams and making racist and homophobic remarks during his term of employment, which ran from 2017 to 2019.

The judge told the couple that he expected “arbitration to be done by then” and gave them until February 14, 2024, to work out the details.

At a status hearing on Friday (06.01.23) – which neither Kris nor her former employee were present for – the frustrated judge asked the lawyers for both sides: “This is taking a very long time. What’s going on?”

According to DailyMail.com, McWilliams’ legal representative, Michelle Doolin, disputed whether the hearing had been scheduled, which prompted the judge to set a new hearing date. McWilliams’ lawyer, Sean Novak, explained that a private judge had been chosen to preside over the case in proceedings scheduled for December this year.

Marc had earlier claimed that he had been unfairly fired from his position and that his 65-year-old manager had made remarks to him of a “sexual nature,” made reference to his physicality, inquired about his “sexual practises,” and encouraged “intimate physical contact.”

The original filing stated: “Between May, 2017 and September 12, 2018 defendant Jenner began repeatedly and frequently causing her body to come into intimate physical contact with the body of [McWilliams] and making overt comments of sexual nature to [McWilliams] on a repeated basis.”
