Lacey Chabert says she would love a role in her previous drama series
Salinger will always be a favorite author of Lacey Chabert.
The Fox drama series Party of Five, which aired for six seasons from 1994 to 2000, was the breakout hit for the Hallmark Channel performer, 40, and she confessed as much on Good Day DC on Friday.
Chabert continued, “I don’t know if there ever will be, but I’d love it. “I’m [there] in full. I’d like to know what Claudia is doing, so sign me up.”
The fourth of five siblings, played by Matthew Fox, Scott Wolf, Neve Campbell, and Jacob Smith, Claudia Salinger was a cynical young musical genius. The orphaned children must learn how to look out for one another when their parents are killed in a vehicle accident.
Chabert noted that even more than two decades after the show ended, being recognized as Claudia Salinger never gets old.
“It’s a little alarming if there’s five of us at a restaurant and they’re like ‘party of five,'” she joked. “People often ask us, ‘Does that get old?'”
“No, whenever you participate in any endeavor, you hope that it will resonate with people and that they will appreciate and enjoy it. So, when people bring up projects you worked on years ago, I take it as a compliment “Chabert went on to say.
She also mentioned that she had been on the show for “six years of my life” was “a unique experience,” noting, “They’re a family to me. I consider who I am today and how much of that is due to that beautiful group of people, with whom I am forever attached and connected.”
Party of Five, a Freeform sitcom about five Mexican-American siblings striving to make it on their own after their parents are deported, was relaunched in 2020. After one season, the show was cancelled.
