Lisa Marie Presley passed away on Thursday after being taken to a hospital in Los Angeles for what might have been a heart attack. 54-year-old Elvis Presley’s daughter.

According to bereavement therapist David Kessler, Lisa Marie spent time at Graceland commemorating what would have been Elvis’ 88th birthday about a week before she passed away. “Her happy place was Graceland, where the staff members who all knew her said she looked fantastic. She appeared happier and was incredibly pleased of the Elvis movie “said he. “We sat at her father and son’s graves on Saturday night. We discussed the heartache she experienced growing up and the more recent sadness caused by the passing of her son. She showed me the location of her future grave. She responded that she had a lot to do and that it would be a long time from now.”
The family requests donations to The Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit that supports organizations focusing on the arts, education, and other causes, in lieu of floral tributes.
