Mia Tindall attended New Year’s Day Racing at Cheltenham

• Princess Anne’s daughter Mia Tindall, 8, attended New Year’s Day Racing at Cheltenham.

• Princess Anne’s son Lucas, aged two, was not pictured at the racecourse.

Mia Tindall, Zara and Mike Tindall’s eight-year-old daughter, was seen cheering on the horses today while attending the New Year’s Day Racing at Cheltenham Racecourse with her family. The tiny princess clutched a betting slip in her palm, clearly enjoying her day out with parents Zara, 41, and Mike, 44, and little sister Lena, four.

Zara can be seen beaming at her eldest daughter, who was dressed smartly in a grey coat, brown boots, and a dark blue headband.

Mum-of-three Zara, Princess Anne’s daughter, wore a long belted navy coat that she accessorized with a little burgundy handbag and matching cap. Mike, a former rugby union player, also chose burgundy for his tie, which he paired with beige trousers and a stylish flat cap.

Lena, the middle Tindall kid, dressed similarly to her older sister in a scarlet double-breasted coat with gold buttons, a thick headband, and boots.

Lucas Tindall, who will turn two in March, was not pictured at the joyful occasion, possibly because he was deemed too young to participate.

This comes after Mike disclosed why his three young children do not dine with other members of the royal family at the Sandringham estate for Christmas dinner.

Mike said on the House of Rugby podcast: “There must be about 70 of us there. There are seven tables and then the kiddies have their own little one in a different room.”
