Paulina Porizkova begins the new year with a clean slate!

Sunday, the 57-year-old model uploaded a bare-faced selfie on Instagram and a lengthy essay about her goals for the next year, which included embracing change.

Porizkova captioned the shot, “First morning of 2023, unretouched, unfiltered and with a slight hangover from a wonderful night with my closest friends and son.”

Then, noting that 2022 was a year of embracing both the “new and the old,” Porizkova stated that she had written a book on her past and would like to change her approach in 2023.

In 2023, my hopes are to be able to let go of the past,” she said. “To quit trying to live in it for comfort – even though it hurts and will keep hurting as long as I sit there.”

Porizkova stated that what she wants to overcome next is her “fear of the unknown” and that she wants to see new countries and have experiences she has never had before.

“Here is to a new year and the unknown. Here’s to embracing change,” Porizkova said, concluding: “Getting wiser, getting older, getting bolder.”

Porizkova accomplished numerous things in 2022, such as publishing her book No Filter: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful and revealing her personal troubles on the CBS series Beyond the Edge.
