Pathaan, a movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, hit theatres on January 25. The producers held a private screening of the eagerly anticipated movie on Tuesday at the Mumbai location of Yash Raj Films. Along with Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham were also spotted at the screening of Pathaan. Along with famous people like choreographers Vaibhavi Merchant and Bosco Martis, actor Rani Mukerji, and John’s wife Priya Runchal, the screening was attended by Shah Rukh’s wife, interior designer Gauri Khan, and director Siddharth Anand. On paparazzi and fan pages, there were pictures and videos of the cast and crew celebrating the release of Pathaan.

Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and director Siddharth Anand might all be seen wearing black in inside images from the Pathaan screening. For the Pathaan screening, Deepika wore an all-beige dress and posed for pictures inside the theatre. At the exclusive screening, Shah Rukh Khan also posed for a photo with the actor Ekta Kaul. The star captioned her Instagram post with Shah Rukh, “Sums it all,” after sharing her snapshot with him.

On Tuesday, actor Shaji Choudhary shared a number of images and videos from the Pathaan screening on Instagram. In a video that Shaji shared, dancers Bosco Martis and Vaibhavi Merchant performed to the Pathaan song Besharam Rang. “Party full on,” he captioned the photo. People shouted for Vaibhavi and Bosco as they danced on the floor. Besharam Rang was choreographed by Vaibhavi, and Jhoome Jo Pathaan, the film’s title song, was choreographed by National Award-winning choreographer Bosco Martis.

Social media users posted videos of Rani and Gauri coming at the Pathaan screening. John’s wife Priya, who is infrequently seen at public events, was observed travelling to the screening with the actor. Deepika also posted a photo of a dessert platter with the caption, “Good luck for Pathaan,” written in chocolate sauce. The image appears to be from the Tuesday evening special screening.

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is Shah Rukh Khan’s first feature-length movie following Zero (2018). Shah Rukh portrays an agent on a quest to defend the nation. He is accompanied by Deepika as they battle John, the terrorist group’s leader.
