Shannon Beador and boyfriend John Janssen parted ways

• After breaking up with her partner of three and a half years, John Janssen.
• After season 17 of the popular Bravo series, on which Beador had been a full-time cast member.
• More than a month ago, Shannon Storms Beador is speaking up.

Shannon Beador Real Housewives of Orange County star speaks exclusively to about the dissolution of her relationship, claiming she was “blindedsided by it.”

After season 17 of the popular Bravo series, on which Beador had been a full-time cast member for the previous nine seasons, had wrapped up production, Janssen, 59, ended their relationship in late November, a week after it had been announced.

When asked to reflect on the events that precipitated the breakup, Beador replies, “All I can do is repeat in my brain what he said to me when we were filming. We were in a wonderful location.

But seven days later, when the cameras were down, it was a completely different story. He told me he was done with the relationship. And to hear what he said to me then was absolutely devastating.”

“I’ve never loved anyone more in my life,” Beador says, of Janssen. “I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I wanted it to work out. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve loved John. But clearly, he didn’t feel the same way.”

When contacted for comment, Janssen tells that he found the decision to end the relationship to be “very painful.”

He admits, “I have been in grief about that. “Shannon and I are really close, so this makes me sad. More than any other woman in my life, she has had my undying affection. She is unique; she is hilarious, sweet, and full of life and adventure. I have never had a connection like the one we have. And I am confident that she is the last person I will ever encounter in my lifetime. However, that does not imply that we will be compatible for the rest of our lives.”
