Allison Holker shares tributes to Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss after a private funeral....
Stephen “tWitch” Boss was apparently under pressure due to “Ellen Scandal”
Stephen tWitch was hired as the show is DJ; in 2020, he was promoted to co-executive producer. He shot himself in the head, died, and was discovered on December 13, 2022, in a hotel room in Los Angeles. He was in his forties.
After Ellen DeGeneres was accused of creating a “toxic environment” at the show, the choreographer said Boss had come under heavy fire for his continued support of his controversial friend. A number of former colleagues anonymously accused DeGeneres of fostering a work environment that was “racist, fearful, and intimidating” in 2020. The news did not go over well and brought about a lot of criticism for both the talk show host and Boss, who supported DeGeneres.
He told Page Six, “I think he was under a lot of strain because people were asking him why he was still supporting this woman.” Hall further mentioned that Boss’ disturbed mental equilibrium might have been influenced by the online backlash. “He was just someone who always stood by me,” he concluded. He was also compassionate and reasonable. He visited my place a few occasions, and we collaborated on TikTok videos.
DeGeneres revealed in the spring of 2022 that she was ending her talk show after 19 years, adding that she had made the decision to do so before the scandal emerged. On April 28, she finished filming her last episode.
