The door “has to be” open for Kody’s reconciliation says Janelle ‘Sisters Wives’

• Although Janelle and Kody Brown are formally divorced.
• They both think there is still hope for a future reconciliation.
• Janelle claimed that ending the marriage “wasn’t heartbreaking.

On Sunday’s final Sister Wives: One on One show, the two reality stars discussed how their relationship ended and where they stand with one another. When host Sukanya Krishnan asked Janelle if there was still “She replied: “At this time, no, there is no love” between them. It isn’t.”

 Janelle continued, “It’s duty, it’s dedication, it’s a faith that encourages you to work it out and you stick it out. “I believe that if we both took a seat, we would both look at the other and ask, ‘Really?'”

Janelle, for the first time, in full, shared the pair’s current relationship status: “We’ve been separated for several months.”

“Kody and I have separated and I’m happy,” she said. “Really happy.”

Later, Janelle claimed that ending the marriage “wasn’t heartbreaking.” She isn’t “waiting for him” to return, but she does think a passionate reunion between them isn’t out of the question.

I believe it might exist, but I am unsure because it would take significant adjustment on our sides. And a part of me considers that, since I firmly believe in my religion, you must continue to make a marriage work. And I have been in such a state of tranquilly that I am at a loss for words.

“So that’s where I always argue with myself, even though I know I’m content. Although I don’t want him to return, my faith demands that we get married.

The second spouse of Kody was Janelle. He started down the path of polygamy with his first wife Meri Brown and then brought in his third wife Christine Brown and fourth wife Robyn Brown.

Kody is currently solely wed to Robyn, 44. The news of his divorce from Christine, 50, broke in November 2021. The three-part Sister Wives: One on One special later exposed the details of his splits with Janelle and Meri, 51.

On Sunday’s show, Christine discussed Kody’s potential love life and revealed that he doesn’t “have the capacity for plural marriage” at this time.
