Andrea Thompson, Tristan Thompson’s mother, passed away unexpectedly. According to a source, Thompson’s mother experienced cardiac arrest and was unable to be revived. Her passing was reportedly “unexpected.”

Andrea reportedly experienced a heart attack on Thursday while at home. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where staff members unsuccessfully attempted to revive her.

According to the website’s sources, Thompson, 31, and ex-Khloé Kardashian, 38, flew on a private plane from Los Angeles to Toronto to be with his family.

Our insider further said that because Thompson is the father of Kardashian’s two children, she will be Thompson’s support system and at his side throughout this trying time. They recently had a son via surrogacy in August and co-parent True, a 4-year-old daughter.

Kris Jenner paid tribute to Andrea after learning of her untimely death by posting pictures from her birthday festivities and Kim Kardashian’s baby shower while she was pregnant with True.

“I am devastated by Andrea’s sudden passing, who was Tristan’s mother. Tristan, Amari, Dishawn, and Daniel are in my thoughts, prayers, and heart, she wrote in the description of an Instagram photo.

“You were the most wonderful, committed, loyal, and selfless mother and such a wonderful, loving grandma. You were such a gift to your family! Andrea, I will miss you. I will miss your great light and positive attitude. We appreciate all of your prayers, support, and words of encouragement. Rest in peace, lovely angel.

The NBA player routinely posts pictures with his mother, a school bus driver, and in 2019 he even posted a picture of Andrea with True.

Back in 2020, Thompson posted a touching Mother’s Day tribute in memory of his late mother along with a video of Andrea gushing about him.

“Mommy, happy Mother’s Day! It would take more than one day to praise and pull you up, he wrote at the time. “You have a day every day. I appreciate everything you gave up for my brothers and I.
