Wednesday Addams actress Lisa Loring dies at 64
A “massive stroke” on January 28 killed 64-year-old Lisa Loring.
After being taken off life support, the legendary Hollywood actress who played Wednesday Addams in the mid-1960s sitcom The Addams Family died.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Lisa died Saturday night at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, from stroke complications.
“She went quietly with both daughters [Vanessa and Marianne] holding her hands,” she said.
Lisa’s close friend Laure Jacobson said on social media that Lisa “died” on Saturday after “three days” on life support.
Laure wrote, “Lisa Loring, our buddy, died. Smoking and hypertension caused her major stroke four days ago.”
“Her life support lasted three days. She died last night after her family removed it.”
Further, “Wednesday Addams is in our hearts and pop culture. Lisa’s legacy in entertainment is immense.
“And the legacy for her family and friends—a wealth of humour, affection, and love will long linger in our memory.”
Lisa’s pal said, “Lisa, RIP. Girl… Fun!”
