Wednesday stays on Netflix after rumours of Amazon switch

Recent reports said that the spinoff show, “Wednesday,” would move to Amazon for its second season. However, Netflix is not letting the show leave its library.

IndieWire says that the deal between Amazon and MGM last spring has led to rumours that the 007 library will move to the streaming giant and be worth $8.5 billion.

But a person in the know said that the deal between Netflix and MGM on Wednesday was done a long time before the deal between Amazon and MGM was sealed.

People also thought a lot about the fact that Netflix had not yet renewed one of the most-watched shows. But the reports said that the showrunners are already planning the second season and looking for places to film.

The Jenna Ortega-led show was streamed for 1.237 billion hours, making it Netflix’s No. 2 English-language TV series of all time, after Stranger Things 4.

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar made the spinoff show, and Tim Burton was in charge of it.

Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, and Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams in the ’90s, were among the actors who starred in the show.
