Yara and Jovi’s mom deny him a second child, “we’re not in that position” ’90 days’

• Still at odds over having a second child, Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren.
• The pair had an emotional discussion about growing their family on Sunday night’s episode
•  They even received some unexpected advice from Jovi’s mother Gwen.

When Jovi brought up the subject again (even though Yara had informed him she was not ready), Gwen was the first to speak out and warn that having a second kid would be a poor idea.

She pointed out that Jovi had gone on a friend’s safari vacation when Yara was recuperating from cosmetic surgery and remarked, “I have told him this so many times.”

Jovi needs to mature, continued Gwen. “Your father. You have a wife.”

Gwen scolded Jovi after taking over the couple’s 2-year-old daughter as Yara recuperate alone: “Come on son, you always need someone to watch Mylah. You are not allowed to have two kids. You are not in that circumstance.”

Yara said, “Absolutely, Mrs. Gwen. We are not in that situation, and having another child would be impossible given the circumstances. You can not just have a baby and let someone else raise them while I am at work and you are at work.”

Jovi dismissed their collective resistance, claiming he did not want to raise an elderly father or have children who were “10 years apart.”

While they were travelling in Europe, Jovi first suggested to Yara having another kid; he subsequently admitted that he hoped to have another child “may make our connection stronger. I believe that Yara becoming pregnant once more will improve our relationship.”

This notion was instantly rejected by Yara, who informed him that “They shall be raised by me, personally. You never stop working. No. No.”

On Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC, the brand-new season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way will debut.
