As Kate Middleton and Prince William made their first combined official visit to Cornwall since assuming their new duties, she looked effortlessly chic in a chestnut brown coat over a red dress.

The mother-of-three looked stunning as she wore a red dress underneath and a chestnut brown coat, which she initially wore in 2012. She enhanced her appearance by adding a pair of identical knee-high boots.

The Prince and Princess of Wales took advantage of the opportunity to mix with the throng and have fun with children.

After 25 years, the Princess of Wales hugged and gave her old prep school teacher Jim Embury a special welcome. Jim Embury is now a volunteer at the museum.

Thursday’s royal visit to Falmouth included learning about the region’s nautical history at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall before stopping at a neighbourhood centre.

After Queen Elizabeth II’s passing and his father Charles’ ascension to the throne, Prince William and Kate Middleton assumed the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cornwall.
