 Kit Harrington made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and discussed the rumored spinoff series. Fallon brought up the matter by bringing up rumors that Kit is character Jon Snow would appear in the aforementioned series.

I do not know, do you want to have it, Harrington replied coyly. Fallon responded by saying that not only would he “love to have it,” but also other people would. With a knowing smirk, the Eternals actor continued, “Yeah, I can not say anything on it.” I get recognized a little less these days, and it kind of wounds my ego, Kit said when Fallon pressed him about why he would do the series.

He just travelled to Los Angeles to attend the Game of Thrones event. Fallon questioned the 36-year-old actor about his experience attending these events. Kit answered that it felt “a little bit like travelling back in time.”

It feels like more time has passed even though it is only been four years or something, he added. “And I went to it, and it’s nice seeing the fans and it’s kind of amazing that the show has still got such a fan base, and it’s continuing on in its own way.” Kit played Jon Snow throughout GoT’s entire run from April 2011 to May 2019, appearing in nearly every episode of the show.

According to Us Weekly, word got out that HBO was working on a GoT sequel series featuring Jon Snow just before the August 2022 debut of the prequel House of the Dragon, and Kit Harington is attached to reprise his role as the former Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch.

The revelation was verified in June 2022 by George R.R. Martin, the author of the books on which Game of Thrones was based. At the time, he stated in the blog, “Yes, there is a Jon Snow programme in development. “Yes, Kit Harrington [sic] was the one who first presented the idea to us. Since such information has not yet been approved for release, I am unable to disclose the authors’ or showrunners’ names. but Kit also brought his own crew in, and they are terrified
