Reese Witherspoon has now provided some insight into some of her early professional blunders. During her most recent visit for Jimmy Kimmel Live, she offered her opinion on everything! After Witherspoon went back in time and talked about her audition for De Niro’s 1991 movie Cape Fear, the dialogue started. She recalls feeling in the heart of it, “I am not in that movie because I became so afraid when I walked in the room.”

“I was talking to the receptionist when I was outside since I did not know who Robert De Niro was. You realize he is the most significant actor of our time, right?, she said. Her anxiousness increased as a result of the receptionist’s words at one point.

“I was 14. I had not seen Goodfellas before. Never had I watched The Godfather. So it really irritated me. He is never going to remember that I blew the audition, I reasoned “She spoke to Kimmel. “He then said, “I remember you.” I asked, “Me?” He responds, “Oh sure. You were the one who was unable to utter the term. I swear to God! This is awful.
