‘RHOBH’ alum Diana Jenkins over the moon about child’s gender
Diana Jenkins is expecting a girl, her second child with fiancé Asher Monroe.
According to a source close to the 49-year-old former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, “Diana found out she is having a girl and she and Asher are just over the moon about it.”
The insider continues, “They are very thrilled to give Eliyanah a younger child, especially one so close in age.
“To give her a little sister is truly a dream come true.”
Jenkins was “a few weeks pregnant,” but because of her medical history, she was at the time on “bed rest.”
With her ex-husband Roger Jenkins, the blond beauty has a son, Innis, 22, a daughter, Eneya, 19, and a daughter, Eliyanah, 2, with Monroe, 34.
On “RHOBH” Season 12, Diana disclosed that she had recently become pregnant with her fourth child but experienced a devastating, potentially fatal miscarriage.
The Bosnian immigrant turned philanthropist was informed by a doctor that her unborn child had died weeks before she found out she was pregnant. Diana had no choice but to deliver a stillborn child in order to prevent infection.
The star’s current pregnancy, according to the source, has “been a lot simpler,” and she “feels fantastic and healthy,” as well as “ecstatic” to learn that “another adorable little girl is on the way.”
Diana is eager to attend her friend Elton John’s annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars viewing party on March 12 even though she is “still taking it easy and sleeping as much as possible,” according to the insider.
She “can’t wait” to rejoin with her old “Beverly Hills” castmates Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Crystal Kung Minkoff, and Lisa Rinna, who will once again act as the event’s presenting sponsor.
She still gets along well with all those women, who were quite helpful to her during her pregnancy, according to the source. She is also prepared for an enjoyable mums’ night out.
The “high-risk” pregnancy was the reason given by the Bravo newcomer last month for her decision to leave “RHOBH” after just one season.
She said to her Instagram followers, “As many of you know, Asher and I are expecting our second child later this year.” You should also be aware that my pregnancy is high risk due to a number of circumstances, and that I am now on bed rest per my doctor’s advice.
As a result, I am unable to completely dedicate myself to the filming of the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she continued.
Jenkins thanked the network “for allowing [her] to focus on [her] pregnancy” and vowed to keep her followers “in the loop” about her reproductive journey.
