Carrie Underwood Shows Off the Handmade Cards Her Boys Isaiah and Jacob Made for Her 40th Birthday

Her two sons are showing their mother some birthday affection.

The singer of “Denim & Rhinestones” shared two adorable photographs of two letters her sons wrote to her in honor of her milestone 40th birthday on her Instagram Story on Friday.

“Fun facts Jake likes about me…” With her first post, Carrie Underwood included a message, three heart emojis, and a picture of her son Jacob Ryan’s note, who is 4 years old. The paper, which had the endearing title “Things I adore about mommy,” listed things like “When she kisses me,” “How much she loves me,” “She’s gorgeous,” “Her snuggles,” and “When she dresses up.”

Using a picture of her son Isaiah Michael’s 8-year-old letter, Underwood added, “4 Things Isaiah loves about me,” on the following slide. The note, which read like a sonnet, was written by the oldest Underwood “My 4 Favorite Things About Mommy I adore her cuddles, kisses, singing, and most importantly, I adore her love.”

On her Instagram Stories, Underwood also posted a few additional images, including one of a birthday cake tower that was “made completely of cheese wheels” and another of a row of wines with vintages dating back to 1983. Jokingly, she said she “felt understood.”

“For scale, I estimate that there are around 70 lbs. of cheese here!” The mother of two posted a selfie of herself holding the cake, which had a “Happy Birthday” topper and additional embellishments, such green grapes, figs, and flowers on the cheese wheels.

Underwood tweeted a picture of an omelet, raspberries, and toast earlier in the day to show how she started her birthday. “Breakfast in bed,” she said as the post’s caption.

Shortly later, her husband Mike Fisher posted a touching Instagram birthday tribute to the artist.

“Love, happy birthday! You are extremely adored by the boys and I! #happybirthday, “Along with a picture of Underwood smiling with her five-tier birthday cake, added Fisher, 42.

For her birthday, Underwood also pleasantly surprised her fans with a brand-new song called “Out of That Vehicle.”

She recently had some fun in the studio and for her birthday, she wanted to share her new song, “Out of That Vehicle,” with everyone.
