Gumraah trailer: Aditya as identical suspects in this captivating murder mystery
Once the police in Gumraah have a picture of their murder suspect, they believe they have a solid case. However, when they discover two men who are identical to their suspects, they are in for a rude surprise, and their case unravels. The film also takes us inside the lives of the suspects as they attempt to solve the mystery. Is it murder with cold blood or retaliation?
For the first time in his career, Aditya Roy Kapur performs as both a man and a woman. While Ronit Bose and Mrunal Thakur play the police officers who are pursuing the two suspects. Which of the two is lying, and which of the two is telling the truth? One or both may face retribution, according to the Gumraah trailer.
Mrunal Thakur wrote, “Har kahani ke do pehlu hote hain, Sach aur Jhooth;” when he posted the movie’s trailer to Instagram. Lekin iss kahani ke pehlu hain Gunaah and Gumraah (There are truth and lies in every story, but this one has a crime and a lost person)!

It is said that true events served as inspiration for the suspenseful drama. Additionally, the suspects are at opposite ends of the spectrum. While the other is a thug with a short temper, one is polished and respectable. The police’s questioning of the two suspects in an effort to solve the brutal murder of a young man appears to take up much of the film.
Vardhan Ketkar, a first-time filmmaker, has worked on films like Brothers (2015), Kapoor & Sons (2016), and Mubarakan (2017). Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios are the producers of Gumraah. It is Arun Vijay and Vidya Pradeep’s Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil smash Thadam. On April 7, 2023, the thriller will be shown in movie theaters.
Aditya recently appeared alongside Anil Kapoor in the Hindi version of the BBC series The Night Manager. He portrayed a former soldier and hotel worker who is persuaded to kill a notorious arms dealer. Mrunal was last seen in Dulquer Salmaan’s hit Telugu film Sita Raman (2022) before making a special appearance in Akshay Kumar’s Selfiee.
