Kangana Ranaut posts a video of Holi celebrations from Chandramukhi 2’s set

• Kangana Ranaut posted an Instagram Reel of her Holi celebration on the sets of Chandramukhi 2 in Hyderabad.
• She is shooting for the Tamil film directed by P Vasu.
• She can then be seen applying colour on the faces of the crew members from Chandramukhi 2.

Kangana Ranaut shared an Instagram Clip on Wednesday showing how she celebrated Holi with the Chandramukhi 2 cast and crew in Hyderabad. The actor is currently in the Tamil film P Vasu is directing. The horror-comedy is a follow-up to the Rajinikanth and Jyothika-starring Chandramukhi from 2005.

The actor posted on Instagram, “Holi this morning on Chandramukhi sets… (love emoji)”. Kangana is seen in the video, which features the song Rang Barse from Silsila, dressed simply in a white salwar kameez and accessorized with sunglasses. She also makes a Holi thali with a variety of colors. The cast of Chandramukhi 2, including director Vasu, are then shown with her painting their faces. The mood lightens as several staff workers put some color to Kangana’s face toward the end of the film because some of them are completely unprepared.

She and the crew are shown in some still photos from the video with their faces and clothing covered in Holi paint. Designer Neeta Lulla replied with a red heart emoji on her post. In the comments section, fans also wished the actress a Happy Women’s Day and a Happy Holi. One admirer remarked, “With your love of color and celebratory energy, you completely altered the mood of the set. Will never forget this wonderful experience. Happy Holi.”

Chandramukhi 2 also stars Raghava Lawrence and Vadivelu. The Oscar-nominated MM Keeravani will compose the conclusion song for the Tamil movie, while Kala will choreograph it. Other roles for Kangana include Thalaivii, a biopic, and Dhaam Dhoom (2008), both in Tamil (2021). In the latter film, which was also made available in Hindi and Tamil, she portrayed actor-turned-politician J Jayalalithaa.

Meanwhile, the actor has finished filming Emergency, on which she also serves as producer and director. In the historical drama, Kangana plays the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. In the movie Tejas, she also plays an Indian Air Force pilot. Later this year, the Hindi movie is scheduled for release. She will also appear in another great figure’s biography.
