Manisha Koirala became upset due to Aamir Khan’s actions

Aamir Khan previously recalled an incident in which Manisha Koirala, his co-star in the film Akele Hum Akele Tum, became irate with him during the film’s production. The actor discussed how he shot several scenes with his female co-stars while appearing as a guest on Simi Garewal’s chat show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. Aamir brought up the fact that he was “unfriendly” with Manisha Koirala while the movie was being made when Simi brought it up.

An event involving Manisha Koirala, his co-star in the movie Akele Hum Akele Tum, and him during the film’s production was previously related by Aamir Khan. Being a guest on Simi Garewal’s discussion show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, the actor talked about how he shot various sequences with his female co-stars. Simi mentioned it, and Aamir brought up the fact that he was “unfriendly” with Manisha Koirala while the movie was being made.

The emcee then remarked that Manisha once informed him that he ‘offered very indifferent unpleasant vibes during Akele Hum Akele Tum’. She further revealed to Aamir that he replied Manisha, “Well but the script required me to be like that,” in response. In response, Aamir “When Manisha learned this, she was furious with me. The screenplay demanded that we get along badly and such such things. I simply kept a certain distance from her when I started working on the movie.”

In the 1995 romantic drama Akele Hum Akele Tum, Aamir, Manisha, and Master Adil all appear. The Mansoor Khan-directed movie is partially inspired on the Kramer vs. Kramer movie from 1979. Aamir plays the part of Rohit, an aspiring singer, in the movie, and Manisha plays Kiran, a driven classical vocalist-in-training. After facing criticism from her family, they decide to live separate lives after being married.

Mann (1999), a love drama movie written and directed by Indra Kumar, also has Aamir and Manisha in it. In addition to Rani Mukerji, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, and Neeraj Vora.

Laal Singh Chaddha was Aamir’s final movie for fans. The actor declared that he will then take a vacation from acting. Aamir had stated, “I feel as though I have been working for 35 years and have been single-mindedly focused on my work,” at a gathering in Delhi in November 2022. Those close to me don’t seem to be treated fairly, in my opinion. I feel like I need to take a break now to be with them and genuinely live a new kind of life.
