Shraddha Kapoor admits that she was caught cheating on tests

Shraddha Kapoor admitted to having cheated on an exam in the past and said that everyone errs occasionally. Shraddha remembers being caught by the teacher for cheating on an exam as she was promoting her new movie, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
In the latest movie by Luv Ranjan, Shraddha co-stars with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Boney Kapoor, Anubhav Singh Bassi, and Dimple Kapadia are also included in the movie. With a first-day take of 15.73 crore, it had a strong opening at the box office and moved up to second place for the year. The collections decreased on the second day (a working day), but they increased once more on Friday, the film’s third day.

Everyone has cheated in tests at some time in their lives, Shraddha said to NDTV Good Times. I felt so ashamed of myself. My wonderful notion was that no one would be able to catch me because I had put my answers under my pinafore.

She continued by saying that she didn’t realize she was in trouble until much later. “My teacher was standing right next to me as I was merely looking at the answers. Hey, I know I’m going to earn excellent scores, I thought. She had just arrived. My teacher yelled, “Shraddha!” and I was ultimately caught. So it’s obvious that I’m a lousy liar.

Prior to the movie’s release, Shraddha spoke with PTI about her character and said, “It’s a completely different character from the ones I did in Aashiqui 2 and subsequent movies. She is a girl who is more assertive, proactive, and self-assured. It was energizing for me to play a character who expresses her emotions. She is the neighbor girl with a little “tadka” (spice). For me, it was a first.”
