Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor will collaborate once again

One of the most beloved actresses in the Hindi film industry is Shraddha Kapoor. She has been in a number of the most adored and enduring movies in India, including Aashiqui 2, Haider, Ek Villain, Baaghi, Stree, Chhichhore, and ABCD2. Saaho, her collaboration with Prabhas, is one of the most financially successful Indian films ever.

After over 3 years, the actress is making a comeback on the big screen with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The release date of this Luv Ranjan-directed movie, which will be her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor, is set for March 8, 2023—the auspicious Holi holiday.

In an interview , Shraddha talked about her favourite movies, her on-screen partner Ranbir Kapoor, and her Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar director Luv Ranjan. In the midst of it all, the actress also revealed details about the Stree sequel and her potential to reteam with Varun Dhawan now that their respective film universes have merged.

Shraddha Kapoor firstly expressed how nice it felt to see people’s excitement when they saw her in the song Thumkeshwari, right before the post credit scene of Bhediya, and then she started to speculate whether Stree 2 was coming or not when she was asked about how excited she was for Stree 2 knowing that it was confirmed in the post credit scene of Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s movie, Bhediya. She found it uplifting and comforting. Shraddha also described her reaction after hearing the Stree script for the first time. She said, “I recall falling off the sofa when I heard Stree” (laughing). When I heard that in the audience, I thought, “I need that.”

Many people adore Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor as a couple. They had previously worked together on movies like ABCD2 and Street Dancer 3D. Shraddha also appeared in the popular song Thumkeshwari by Bhediya. When asked if she may collaborate with Varun Dhawan once more, actor Shraddha responded,  “I hope we get a film where we are reunited. We do get a lot of love on social media and here’s hoping that something happens soon.”

The first film produced by Shraddha Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, and Luv Ranjan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, will be released on March 8, 2023, Holi Day. Tomorrow, three days before the movie’s release, advance reservations for the movie can be made. The anticipation for the movie is high. It is now up to the movie to do well at the box office given how wonderfully the trailer and songs have been appreciated. The movie will start playing in local theatres on Wednesday of next week.
