Ananya Panday, following her successful OTT debut with “Call Me Bae”, is now gearing up to entertain audiences with her upcoming thriller, “CTRL”. Ahead of its Netflix release on October 4, the actress and filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane shared glimpses of her character. In the sneak peek, Panday transforms into actor-filmmaker Amol Palekar. Although they kept details of the fun transformation under wraps, fans flooded the post with playful comments. One fan even dubbed her as a “mini version” of her father, actor Chunky Panday.

Ananya Panday shared a photo album on her Instagram stories that left many fans saying “Woah.” The pictures from the set of her upcoming movie “CTRL” start with her dressed as Amol Palekar, sporting a boy-cut wig, mustache, and spectacles, and wearing a striped t-shirt paired with ribbed denim jeans.

Ananya Panday confidently sat next to filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane. The next glimpses showed her transforming into the iconic actor while taking lessons from comedian Sumukhi Suresh. She also humorously failed at Sumo wrestling. In the captions, she wrote, “Why, you may ask? Watch “CTRL” on Friday to find out.”

The visuals sparked curiosity and left netizens in splits. One person called the scenes “legendary stuff,” while others remarked that she resembled a “Mini Chunky Panday.” A user also commented, “I don’t understand why people troll Ananya Panday so much; she has a heart of gold and is sweet… I’m a huge fan, ma’am, keep working hard.”

Independent photographer Ishika Mohan Motwane, likely present during Ananya’s Sumo wrestling practice, commented, “Oh man! When slide #7 happened, I couldn’t shoot for five minutes! I was nearly biting @hot.hair.balloon to keep from laughing in the middle of the shot! The best! @ananyapanday.”

Vikramaditya also shared an image of Panday holding a phone displaying Amol Palekar’s image while dressed like him, introducing “Uncle Nellesh” along with his inspiration.
