After a 14-year absence, Pakistani band Jal made their way back to Bangladesh and performed at a chaotic concert that required the army to be called in to control the attendees.

Jal performed alongside local bands from Bangladesh, and the event, named “Legends of the Decade,” was originally scheduled to take place at Dhaka Arena. The location was abruptly moved to Jamuna Future Park, a mall, due to excessive rain.

The enormous throng that surrounded the venue as Jal took the stage even filled the elevators and railings on all eight floors in an attempt to get a good look at the band.

The audience was captivated by Goher Mumtaz’s performance of the iconic song “Aadat,” but the concert abruptly ended when authorities halted the show and cut the band’s set short.

Overcrowding, bad administration, and technical problems created a chaotic situation that required military intervention. Jal briefly brought the audience together despite these difficulties with a moving performance of “Woh Lamhey.” However, the mismanagement and technical difficulties left fans disappointed and frustrated.
