In a recent interview with News 18 Showsha, Kajol opened up about the impact of sibling rivalry on her bond with her sister, Tanishaa Mukerji.

She stated, “I would say that yes, it did happen at some point, definitely. But we sorted it out. It was momentary.” Kajol emphasized that while they faced challenges, their relationship has grown stronger over time.

Tanishaa also shared her perspective in an earlier interview with The Indian Express. She mentioned that the constant comparisons to Kajol don’t bother her much anymore. “These things don’t bother me. I can’t look at my sister and me and compare. I don’t even compare myself to other actors, why will I compare myself to my sister?” Tanishaa added, acknowledging Kajol’s successful career: “I thank her career for giving me whatever I needed. At the end of the day, I had a very comfortable career.”

In Do Patti, Kajol takes on the role of Vidya Jyothi, a cop drawn into a murder investigation. Kriti Sanon plays the twin sisters, Saumya and Shailee Sood, who are both romantically involved with Dhruv Sood, portrayed by Shaheer Sheikh.
