Kajol’s ‘Do Patti’ Trailer Out: Kriti Sanon, Shaheer Sheikh Tangled in Deceit Game

The trailer for “Do Patti” was released on Monday, offering a sneak peek into an engaging mystery thriller. A thrilling experience full of mind games, romance, drama, and suspense is promised by the trailer of “Do Patti,”  which stars Kriti Sanon and Kajol in daring new roles.

As Kriti makes her mystery genre debut, she plays two characters, Saumya Sood and her twin sister Shailee, setting the stage for a convoluted plot. Kajol plays a relentless police officer.

The story follows police inspector Vidya Jyothi (Kajol) as she looks into strange incidents involving Saumya (Kriti) and her husband, Dhruv Sood (Shaheer Sheikh), in the fictitious hilly town of Devipur. Things take an unexpected turn when Shailee arrives, complicating the already fraught situation.

The trailer begins with Dhruv being questioned by Kajol, setting up a story of romance and deceit as Saumya’s twin sister tries to woo him. Boundaries, boundaries, and mental health are some of the themes that are explored in the movie.

Kriti expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Do Patti is incredibly special to me, not just because it’s my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my own duality on-screen.” The film will premiere on Netflix and is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi.
