Brad Pitt allegedly questions Angelina Jolie’s motives for including Knox at prestigious event

Angelina Jolie attended the 2024 Governors Awards with a surprise companion—her son Knox, whom she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt. Reports suggest that the “Fight Club” actor believes the “Maleficent” star brought Knox to the event to “push his buttons.”

A source told, that Pitt considered it “coincidental” that Jolie brought Knox to the red carpet only days after settling their Château Miraval trial. “He questions her motive for bringing Knox,” the source added.

Knox publicly posed for photos with Angelina Jolie for the first time in three years at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Sunday.

A separate insider previously told the outlet that Jolie felt “proud” to have Knox by her side. The source added that the 16-year-old usually avoids the spotlight but asked his mother if he could accompany her to the event.

“And of course, she was thrilled that he wanted to be there. She couldn’t be more proud of him, and they had a really memorable evening together,” The source added that the Jolie-Pitt family, once a big happy unit, has now become disjointed and scattered.

Although the couple separated in 2019, ongoing legal issues have caused significant tension between them. Earlier this month, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled in Pitt’s favor, granting him a major legal win and rejecting Jolie’s attempts to dismiss the case.

In August, Shiloh, the 18-year-old daughter of Pitt and Jolie, officially dropped her father’s surname. “Brad still feels hurt that Shiloh dropped Pitt from her last name,” the source told the outlet.

“They used to have a good relationship but that’s in the past and it breaks his heart. Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him,” the source added. Therefore the Bullet Train actor felt that Jolie’s move was deliberate.
