Even for superstars like Dwayne Johnson, getting tickets to Taylor Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour proved to be a challenge.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor admitted that he had to “pull some strings” for the first time in his illustrious career to secure tickets to the pop star’s much-coveted concert. Swift’s globally successful tour is set to conclude this December.

“It’s never happened in my career. Usually, I don’t have to pull strings. Usually, I’ll just … I just make it happen,” Johnson said, acknowledging the unique situation. The Moana star revealed that a “good friend” had reached out to him for help securing passes to the final concert. He confessed, “I’m never good at asking for that kind of stuff. I’m good at giving it. Hate asking for stuff. I don’t do it. But in this case, made a little call, Taylor made it happen. [We got] tickets … [my friend was] happy. I got the picture of the happy ladies who were there. I appreciate that about Taylor.”

Dwayne shared that his daughters—Simone, 23, Jasmine, 8, and Tiana, 6—are huge fans of both Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. “We love Taylor. We love Beyoncé. Tia, our littlest one, we call her Teyoncé,” he added, mentioning that his youngest “owns it” with her confident strut. Jasmine and Tiana are set to voice roles in Disney’s upcoming Moana 2.

The Eras Tour has attracted a host of Hollywood A-listers, including Tom Cruise, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Selena Gomez, and the Beckhams, solidifying its status as one of the most iconic tours in recent history.
