The separation of Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck appears to be as intricate as their storied romance.

Months after filing for divorce, reports suggest Lopez is attempting to reconcile with her estranged husband. According to Marca, the actor is leveraging “family time” as a way to reconnect with Affleck.

Heat World cited an insider stating Lopez is “refusing to give up” on the relationship. Another source quoted by Marca added, “Ben has been trying to distance himself from Jen, but she just won’t let him. She’s been showing up at the same events as him and demanding they continue doing group activities with the kids, and if he doesn’t agree, then he’s the bad guy.”

The insider also claimed Lopez is urging joint celebrations for the holidays, emphasizing it’s for their children. “She’s pushing for them to do joint celebrations for Thanksgiving and Christmas, saying it’s for the children, but Ben isn’t buying it’s just about them,” the source said.

The couple, famously nicknamed “Bennifer,” initially dated in the early 2000s and were briefly engaged in 2005. After marrying other partners, they reunited in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022. However, their marriage lasted only two years, with the divorce filing in August 2024.
