Govinda’s wife recalls Raveena Tandon’s marriage proposal to husband

Sunita Ahuja, Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, is known for her candid and humorous remarks. In an interview with Hindi Rush, she addressed rumors about her husband’s alleged affairs and playful comments from his former co-stars, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty.

Sunita shared a lighthearted anecdote about Raveena, recalling how the actress often jokes, “Chi Chi, if I had met you earlier, I would have married you.” Sunita humorously replied, “Take him, and you’ll find out!” Raveena and Govinda have shared the screen in numerous hits like Dulhe Raja and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Sunita also mentioned that Raveena visited Govinda recently when he was hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in the foot.

Another co-star, Shilpa Shetty, also dropped by to see Govinda. Sunita revealed a playful exchange inspired by Shilpa’s joke on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where she teased, “If Sunita wasn’t home, who shot him in the foot?” Sunita cheekily responded, “If I had shot him, I’d have aimed for the chest, not the leg. If you’re going to do something, do it completely!”

Reflecting on Govinda’s career, Sunita added that while she wasn’t worried about affairs during his prime due to his busy schedule, she jokes about being more cautious now that he’s 60.
