Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj and legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle recently sparked dating rumors after they were seen together at her birthday party. A photo from the event, showing them engaged in conversation, went viral and fueled speculation about a possible romantic connection.

However, both Zanai and Siraj have addressed the rumors and clarified their relationship. Zanai took to Instagram Stories and shared the viral picture, referring to Siraj as “Mere Pyaare Bhai (My sweet brother).” Responding to her post, Siraj wrote, “Meri behen ke jaisi koi behna nahin. Bina iske kahin bhi mujhe rehna nahin. Jaise hai chaand sitaaron mein, meri behna hai ek hazaaro mein. (Nobody is like my sister, I don’t want to live without her. Just like the moon and stars, my sister is one of a kind).”

Zanai Bhosle’s 23rd birthday celebration was a star-studded affair, attended by several cricketers and Bollywood celebrities, including her grandmother Asha Bhosle, Jackie Shroff, Abhay Verma, Ayesha Khan, and Shreyas Iyer.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj’s exclusion from India’s squad for the 2025 Champions Trophy has drawn criticism. Former cricketer Irfan Pathan questioned the decision, stating that with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami not fully fit, “playing four spinners in Dubai might not be a viable option.”
