In the glitzy world of showbiz, genuine friendships can be rare, but for Momal Sheikh, her bond with Mahira Khan is an exception. Speaking on Ahmad Ali Butt’s podcast, Momal revealed, “Mahira is my closest friend. We hang out all the time, even if we don’t share photos and selfies for everyone to see!”
Momal shared that her connection with Mahira goes beyond professional camaraderie. “Whenever we meet, it’s like we are long-lost friends who haven’t met in a long time. We always pick up wherever we left off. She is my closest friend in wavelength,” she said.
Their friendship isn’t tied to the industry. “Her friendship is completely separate from the industry,” Momal explained. “It’s completely different, and there are mutual friends as well. We all hang out and everything.”
Addressing past controversies, Momal clarified her statement on the “Kapoors of Pakistan” remark. “I never said that. I was asked a question, and I answered it. The problem is that people come to the wrong conclusions based on shots and reels,” she stated.
On her father, Javed Sheikh, Momal added, “My father has never made a single phone call [to further my career].” She humorously appealed, “You might as well do it now!”
Despite her parents’ separation, Momal holds no resentment. “I would never blame my father for anything,” she said. “Baba wasn’t there, but his heart was with us.”
Her reflections showcase resilience and the value of moving forward. “For a better life, you can’t keep looking back. You have to see ahead,” Momal concluded.
