Renowned VJ and host Anoushey Ashraf recently shared details about her unforgettable meeting with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, revealing how he prioritized her interview when he learned she was from Pakistan.

During her appearance on a private TV show, Anoushey discussed the rise and fall of music channels in Pakistan and their impact on the industry. “With music channels, job opportunities were also created in Pakistan. However, many people became unemployed due to their closure,” she said.

Despite the setback, she expressed optimism, stating, “It was a difficult time for all of us. The closure of music channels affected many artists’ businesses and reduced their popularity.” She noted that technology and social media are now reviving the industry.

Sharing her love for horror films, Anoushey stated, “I love scary movies, and if given the opportunity, I would love to work in a horror drama or film.”

Recalling her meeting with Salman Khan, she described it as “the best experience of my life.” She revealed that although many journalists were waiting for an interview, Salman Khan personally chose to speak with her first.

“A hundred people were waiting for the interview, but when Salman Khan found out we were from Pakistan, he gave us the interview first,” she said. He welcomed them warmly, saying, “You have come from Pakistan, so you are our guests.”

Speaking on marriage, she stressed, “Marriage should be done with great thought and after truly understanding the other person.”
