Saif Ali Khan is gearing up for a spectacular comeback in “Race 4”, though details about the director, cast, and filming locations remain undisclosed. However, recent reports indicate that 2025’s breakout star, Harshvardhan Rane, might join the franchise. Yes, that’s right! Reports suggest that discussions are underway for Harshvardhan to portray the film’s antagonist.

A “Filmfare” report states that Harshvardhan Rane, now one of the most sought-after actors of 2025 and currently basking in the success of Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release, might join the high-octane thriller “Race 4”.

Reports indicate that Harshvardhan’s rising popularity, especially after the successful re-release of “Sanam Teri Kasam”, has attracted several major offers. One of these includes the role of the antagonist in “Race 4”. Although his casting is not yet finalized, there is a strong chance the deal will be sealed. If confirmed, his presence would significantly enhance the franchise.

Earlier speculation suggested that Sidharth Malhotra was also under consideration for the film. In a conversation with news, Shiraz Ahmed, who has written all the previous “Race” films, revealed that the production of “Race 4” was scheduled to begin in January 2025.

Ahmed revealed that the script and casting were nearly finalized. He confirmed Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra’s involvement, adding that the filmmakers would officially announce the rest of the cast at a later date.

Shiraz Ahmed revealed that Race 4 will revisit the universe established in the first two installments of the franchise. The film will continue the events and characters from those movies.

Remo D’Souza helmed the previous installment of the Race franchise, featuring an ensemble cast that included Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, and Saqib Saleem. Now, as Race 4 gears up for an exciting reboot, fans eagerly await an official announcement.
