Pop icon Taylor Swift may soon transition from dominating music charts to making waves in Hollywood. According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, the global superstar is actively exploring acting opportunities, particularly in the sci-fi and superhero genres.

Richtman shared the news, stating, “I hear Taylor Swift is going back to acting and trying to find the right project. She talked to studios about starring in a limited series for streaming and a big sci-fi film. Also a superhero role.”

For years, fans have speculated that Swift would be a perfect fit for Marvel’s Dazzler, a mutant singer with light-based powers. The rumors gained traction when she was spotted at a Kansas City Chiefs game in 2023 alongside Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy and stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

While she won’t appear in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, reports suggest she has since met with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige to discuss potential roles.

Swift has previously acted in films such as Valentine’s Day (2010), The Giver (2014), Cats (2019), and Amsterdam (2022), as well as voicing a character in The Lorax (2012). A leading role in a major Hollywood franchise would mark a significant leap in her film career.
